To my considerable surprise, I managed to write 1,088 words and read about 100 pages; the hacking cough and runny nose didn't stop me. I sure hate having a cold, though, and I'm a far worse complainer than my husband is, turning that cliche on its head.

My reading was in two parts: I read Peter Beagle's Return, a novella set in the Innkeeper's World universe; and I started the graphic novel, Kill Shakespeare Volume 1. Good stuff, both of them.
