Writing Metrics for November 2-3, 2010

When you have a case going to trial on Friday, you have no time to do anything else on Tuesday because you have to work on the responses to the motions in limine, the motion for judgment on the pleadings, the motion for bifurcation, and the trial brief, which have to be filed on Wednesday. On Tuesday, I worked from 3:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. I am still exhausted. Wednesday I did nothing but keep a medical appointment, visit a friend, and sleep. I'm still exhausted, but I'm going to try to write a bit tonight yet nonetheless; tomorrow's post will tell the tale as to whether I succeeded.

The worst thing about being away from this website for all that time is that the spammers piled up like crazy: 47 of them in the space of 48 hours. But, oh loyal readers, fear not: no ads for pharmaceuticals, boots, games or pornography will ever appear on this website. How come no one ever wants to spam us with ads for books?

I'm all over it

I'm going to start working to making book spam happen. Preferably selective book spam but that could be further down the road.
