I already know there will be no writing today, so I may as well confess to the horrible truth and be done with it. I just can't write with a migraine.

Today I started The Gathering by Anne Enright, which is for my reading group. Much as I love this group of women, I have not been fond of many of the reading choices, but this novel is quite wonderful. It won the Booker Prize in 1997, and I can sure see why. I've read nearly 100 pages so far, and will probably read a few more before the day is over.
