Writing Metrics for October 10, 2010

It turned out I wasn't as ambitious yesterday as I thought I was when I wrote yesterday morning's entry in the Writing Metrics series. I did, however, write nearly 600 words and read about 35 pages.

Fred and I walked three miles out by the reservoir; that exercise is starting to feel like something I need to do every day, rather than merely hope to do, or aspire to do, or wish I would do. I'm pretty happy about that. I'm also happy that I'm cooking more, with more fresh ingredients. Last night I made a Chilean Squash Casserole from The New Moosewood Cookbook that was absolutely delicious. I'm even looking forward to eating the leftovers tomorrow night!
