I wrote 2,299 words yesterday, but none at all in the days preceding that. Being on the road to argue legal motions with a laptop that doesn't really work anymore (the "c" key stopped working altogether!) was not conducive to getting writing done.

I finished Daniel Fox's Hidden Cities. I think Fox lost control of his story in this third book in his trilogy: too many threads, too many characters, and while everything essentially gets wrapped up, the wrapping up is unsatisfactory. I'll be writing a full review soon.

I've started Kat Richardson's Downpour: A Greywalker Novel, but so far she hasn't explained how her character survived getting shot in the back at the end of the last book -- rather an important point to cover! Hope that gets cleared up soon.
