I've been on vacation in Mendocino, where it rained buckets and the wind blew like mad and the hail fell -- all of which was absolutely perfect for a vacation intended to be all about sleeping, eating well and reading. I finished two books and started a third; read two magazines and started a third and a fourth. Perfectly lovely.

I came home to 104 spammers on this site and more than 400 emails, so it didn't take long to get back into the swing of things. Tomorrow, I write!
