I've encountered a perfect storm of illness and heavy-duty legal work in the past week. Thursday night was an all-nighter while in the throes of bronchitis; not much fun. You won't be surprised, then, to know that I got no writing done. In fact, you'll have noticed, I suspect, that there were no Sunday Links last Sunday.

Tomorrow I see the doctor. I'm recovering, though, and hope to have some content for you very soon.

It probably won't surprise you to learn that, even through all the bad times of the past week, I still managed to read a bit over 500 pages. I think that's why I'm still here and not in a hospital with pneumonia -- just reading a bit is enough to keep me in, if not good health, at least in adequate health. Books can save the world, I'm convinced of it.
