My review of Cassandra Clare's City of Bones was posted at Fantasy Literature on July 8. I enjoyed all four books of The Mortal Instruments series, and reviews of the third and fourth books are coming soon (the second has already been reviewed at Fantasy Literature, and I'd borrowed the book from a library that is now 120 miles away, so I won't be reviewing that one -- but it should tell you something that I purchased the last two because I couldn't wait for the library copies). I'm now eager to read the fifth in the series, as well as Clare's Clockwork Angel series. She really is a quite good writer.
