The British Science Fiction Award is awarded to the best work published in the United Kingdom in the preceding year by members of the British Science Fiction Association. The winners were announced at this weekend's Eastercon, which was held in London this weekend.

Best Novel: The City & The City by China Mieville

Best Short Story: "The Beloved Time of Their Lives" by Ian Watson and Roberto Quaglia

Best Non-Fiction: "Mutant Popcorn" by Nick Lowe

Best Artwork: Cover of Desolation Road (by Ian Watson), Stephen Martiniere

China Mieville is sure snapping up a lot of nominations and wins with The City & The City. Time to read that one!
